SFA Gardens Holding Online Sale For Succulents and House Plants

SFA Gardens holds two plant sales each year. The fall sale is always on the first weekend of October, and the spring sale is always on the first weekend in April. Well, as you may recall, the spring sale this year was cancelled due to COVID-19.

To make up for at least some of the missed spring sale, SFA Gardens announced an online plant sale that is running right now, through July 10th. Now, this isn't going to be on the same scale as the regular sale. If you've ever been to the regular one, you know what I'm talking about. People in line, running to grab the plants that they want - no, literally RUNNING to grab plants - and then stuffing their cars full of whatever they just bought. It's quite the experience to witness.

This online plant sale is, as I mentioned, different. It features just house plants and succulents. You know, plants that aren't that hard to keep up with, that don't require tons of attention? That's the kind of plants you'll find.

They'll be taking orders from now until July 10th, and then pick-ups will be arranged for the following week. And, if you're worried about COVID-19, they're keeping the entire process - from your call-in order, to payment, through the pick-up process - contact-free.

Something else to keep in mind is that these orders are pick-up only. So, you'll need to be able to go by the Pineywoods Native Plant Center to get them. Also, this is a first come, first served basis, so you'll want to get your order in rather quickly.
