Hobby and professional gardeners alike will descend on the oldest town in Texas on October 7th and 8th 2023 from 9 am to 2 pm. Most wait in line well before 9am with wheelbarrows and trucks ready to fill with the offerings from the Native Plant Center on the Stephen F. Austin campus in historic Nacogdoches.
It's a mad dash to stake a claim for the best of the best of all types of native plants that will make a real difference in your garden. The Japanese maples, magnolias, and bald cypress trees you have been looking for will all be there.

Buying one or more of these plants helps further the mission of the SFA Gardens and helps fund the Mast Arboretum, Pineywoods Native Plant Center, Ruby M. Mize Azalea Garden, Gayla Mize Garden, and Kingham Children's Garden.

After you pick your plants consider donating to the SFA Gardens environmental education program to help bring children's events back to the gardens.
They were discontinued in 2020 for obvious reasons, and your donation could help get them started again.
