
23 Felony Arrests In Angelina County Jan 29 – Feb 4
The Angelina County Sheriff's Office, Lufkin Police, Diboll Police (3), Adult Probation, and Hudson Police all had felony arrests for the week of January 29th - February 4th, 2025. Arrests included Courtney Daniel Warren, 38, of Lufkin.
He was allegedly found in possession of drugs, and that led to a parole violation from his previous convictions. According to a Lufkin Daily News article, he was originally charged on November 7, 2017, with obstruction or retaliation against public servants in court.

County records at the time showed that he had eight theft of property convictions and an order for surrender through drug court. During a revocation hearing for the thefts, Warren racked up additional charges.

State District Judge Paul White sentenced Warren to 10 years in prison for his crimes. Upon receiving sentencing, he allegedly began yelling and pushing furniture around the courtroom.

Court officers restrained Warren as he continued to force his way up to the bench. Lufkin Police Detective Corporal Kevin Jackson was a witness for the state during the hearing.

Warren looked at him and said, "I'm going to kill you (expletive). I'm going to get you," as he continued to make his way closer to the officials in court. The report also states when he got back to the Angelina County Jail he told jailers he was going to shoot White in the stomach when he got out.
In the past, he was arrested for the aforementioned theft along with criminal trespass, burglary, assault, and family violence.
