I was scrolling through Facebook the other day, and I came across a post that mentioned that the Nacogdoches' Staples was closing. I was somewhat intrigued, but I kept scrolling. Then I saw another post mentioning the same thing. It was followed by ANOTHER one with the same news. At that point, I figured that I should look into it myself.

So today, I called Staples, and this is what I was told.

Yes, the Staples in Nacogdoches is closing. The person on the phone did not give a date that they would officially close. However, they did say that it was now common knowledge that they are closing in the near future.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there it is. If you're looking for office supplies, and Staples was your automatic go-to for those, you better make your way over there fairly quickly. If you wait too long, you might just miss out.

As of right now, I haven't been able to verify exactly what's going to be taking the place of Staples - if anything - but I'm going to keep an eye on it, and we'll see what's next for that building. In my opinion, it's not a bad location where it is. I would think that the right business would be able to flourish there. But, I'm also not a business person, so my opinion doesn't mean a whole lot there.
