Felony Arrests In Nacogdoches County Nov 9 – 15

I seldom see a felony-level charge of harassment of a public servant. The charge is rare, and the word harassment isn't completely descriptive of the crime.
Felony harassment of a public servant could mean a lot of things in Texas. If you intend to assault, harass, or alarm a public servant you could get arrested with this charge.
The Charge Could Mean Something Much Worse
Startling a police officer doesn't sound like a felony. The offense also covers more serious acts.
If someone spits on a police officer they could get charged with this. Causing an officer to come in contact with anything coming out of your body is a likely way to get put in jail.
Since the charge is vague, we don't know exactly what Labryent Johnson (below) did, but he also had charges for drugs and obstruction or retaliation.
