Many children start out life these days glued to phones and tablets. It's great for their eyesight to get out and look far away into the distance.
It can improve their mood and help prevent them from becoming myopic (near-sighted) later in life. In our hectic daily lives, it's hard to find time outdoors, even though we basically live in a forest.
The Texas Forestry Museum in Lufkin, Texas has the I-Spy Halloween On The Trail event going on until Halloween from 10 AM - 5 PM (Closed Sunday).
