Felony Arrests In Nacogdoches County June 7 – 13

There aren't many recently arrested men and women in the Nacogdoches County Jail this week. They have either bonded out after committing crimes and getting caught, or there just haven't been as many arrests.

Though there are only 11 felony arrests still in the care of the Nacogdoches Sheriff's Office, one arrest stands out from the rest, still sitting in jail.

It might be because of his over $750,000 bail. Leslie Corman, 42 of Nacogoches, can't keep from allegedly getting in trouble. In 2019 he was arrested for criminal mischief and terroristic threat of family, and he is now facing similar charges.

Corman has violated a protective order and committed an indecent assault. He was also arrested and charged with threatening to publish intimate visual material.

That felony charge alone has the $750,000 bond amount attached to it. There are also two charges for injury to a child/elderly/disabled with intent to cause mental anguish.

The felony charges are stacking up, along with two felony charges of property theft in January. His total bond has been set at $762,000, so unless someone has almost a million dollars in collateral, Corman will be sitting in jail for the foreseeable future.
